Why We Started Grannyways
During a visit to my native village after years in the city, I met my father-in-law's father, who is still 90 years old, healthy and active. It made me wonder — what was different about the way our older generations lived?
I started looking deeper and saw how our food had changed. Wood-pressed oils became refined oils, hand-chakki atta became heavily processed flour, and traditional methods were replaced by faster industrial processes.
The reason was simple — scale, cost and longer shelf life..
That's when I started Grannyways — to bring back traditional methods of processing with quality and transparency with building our own manufacturing facility.
