low glycemic index
Rediscover the ancient nutritional wisdom of India with our Premium Khapli Suji (Emmer Wheat Rava).
Sourced directly from certified heritage farms across Maharashtra and Karnataka, our Khapli Suji is crafted exclusively from 100% pure Emmer Wheat—one of the oldest, unhybridized heirloom grains known to humanity. Unlike modern, commercially modified wheat, Khapli wheat has preserved its complex, nutrient-rich genetic structure for thousands of years.
Milled to a uniform, beautiful golden granule, Khapli Suji offers a low-glycemic index (GI) option with a unique, rustic flavor profile. Because its gluten structure is exceptionally weak and water-soluble, it is incredibly gentle on the stomach. Bring this ancient supergrain into your kitchen to enjoy perfectly fluffy breakfast dishes and desserts that treat your body right.

Frequently Asked Questions
Khapli Suji is made from premium Khapli wheat, also known as emmer wheat — one of the oldest wheat varieties grown in India. We stone-grind it fresh in small batches, coarsely, to get that classic Suji texture while keeping the grain's natural fibre and nutrients intact.
Regular Suji is milled from modern wheat, while ours comes from Khapli wheat — which is naturally lower in glycemic index and higher in fibre. That means it digests a little more slowly and keeps you fuller for longer, without changing how you cook with it.
Khapli wheat has a much lower crop yield than the modern wheat used for regular Suji, so there's simply less of it grown. You're also getting more fibre per meal than you would from any other Suji, along with the low-GI benefit — so the extra cost buys you a healthier grain, not just a fancier name.
Yes — it's just like using normal Suji, no change in technique or cooking time. The only difference is you're getting a healthier grain in the same familiar recipe.
Everything — poha, upma, dhokla, halwa, and anything else you'd normally make with Suji. Whatever you can cook with regular Suji, you can cook with Khapli Suji too, with the added health benefits that come from the grain itself.
It's suitable for all age groups — from kids to grandparents — and works well as an everyday addition to family meals.
Store it in an airtight container in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture.
Up to 3 months when stored properly. Since there are no preservatives, we'd recommend not stocking up beyond a 2–3 month supply at a time.
